Founded in 2010, the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF) is an independent think tank organization concerned with central banking, economic policy, and public investment. Nested inside the OMFIF is the DMI, or the Digital Monetary Institute, concerned specifically with the digital future of finance.
The inaugural DMI Symposium seeks to facilitate public and private sector dialogue on the future of money. The virtual 2-day event will feature a host of public sector panelists, notably including Denis Beau, Deputy Governor of Banque de France, John Rolle, Governor of the Central Bank of the Bahamas, and Thomas Moser of the governing board of the Swiss National Bank, among others.
